Create Your Family Account

Step-by-step: buy access, sign in with OTP, and set up your first student profile.

Creating a Scribble family account takes about five minutes. You'll buy access on the web, sign in with a one-time code, and add your first student profile.

Before you start

  • Pick the email address you want to use for the whole family. You'll receive sign-in codes here, so use an inbox you check often.
  • Have a payment method ready.

Steps

  1. Go to usescribble.com and choose the family plan.
  2. Enter the family email and complete checkout.
  3. Open your inbox and click the "Welcome to Scribble" email. It contains your download link for iPad and a link to the web dashboard.
  4. Click the dashboard link. Enter the family email, then enter the 6-digit code we send to that inbox.
  5. On the dashboard, you'll be prompted to create your first student profile. Enter the child's first name and a few setup details.

OTP codes expire

One-time codes are valid for a short window. If a code expires, request a new one — old codes don't work even if they look right.

Sign in on iPad

Once your first profile exists, install Scribble on the iPad. See Installing the app for the install flow.

When you open the app on iPad, enter the same family email. Enter the one-time code we send. Then pick your child's profile from the list and hand the iPad to them.

If a code doesn't arrive

The code email comes from support@usescribble.com. Check your spam folder. If it's still missing after a minute or two, request a new code from the same screen. See OTP didn't arrive if you're stuck.
