Add Student Profiles

How to add a profile for each child in your family, what each profile costs, and how access works.

Each child in your family gets their own student profile. Profiles are separate learning accounts — separate progress, separate XP, separate streaks — but they all sign in through the same family email.

What each profile costs

  • First profile: $1,000.
  • Each additional profile in the same family: $500.

Access for every profile lasts one year from that profile's purchase date. Discounts or waitlist codes may reduce what you pay at Stripe Checkout.

Adding a profile

  1. Sign into the web dashboard with your family email.
  2. Open Students.
  3. Tap Add student.
  4. Enter the child's first name.
  5. Complete the one-time Stripe Checkout payment for that specific student profile.

The new profile appears on iPad after checkout completes. Next time you sign in, the child can pick their name from the profile list.

How family purchases work

A family purchase belongs to one specific student profile. It is not a reusable seat.

  • Inviting another adult to help (as an admin) does not create a student purchase.
  • Archiving a profile stops access but does not transfer paid access to another child.
  • Deleting a profile removes learning history and also does not create a transferable credit.
  • If the same student's access expires, you can explicitly buy another one-time access period for that same profile.

Archive vs delete

Archive keeps a child's progress in your account and stops their access. Delete removes the profile and its learning history. Neither action turns a family purchase into a reusable seat.

Adding profiles on iPad

Family purchases are web-only in v1. Add profiles from the web dashboard, then use the iPad for practice.
