Privacy Policy

Scribble helps students build handwriting skills through guided practice on iPad. The current version is available through select partner schools. We expect to roll out to more schools and families over time; interested families and organizations can join the waitlist.

We collect information needed to provide accounts, lessons, practice activities, learning progress, support, security, and service reliability. Scribble does not sell personal information, does not run third-party ads, and does not track users across other companies' apps or websites.

• Account information, such as name, email address, role, organization, and sign-in information.
• Student profile information, such as display name, age or grade-related settings, handedness, avatar choice, and linked school or family access.
• Learning records, including lesson state, session drafts, handwriting attempts, submitted drawing data, scores, activity results, progress, and timestamps.
• Practice information from the device, such as Apple Pencil or touch input and, when a reading activity is used, microphone or speech-recognition input needed for that activity.
• Support information, such as messages, comments, contact details, and troubleshooting context submitted to Scribble.
• Usage, diagnostic, and security information, such as device/browser details, IP address, sign-in events, product interactions, logs, and crash or performance data.

• Provide authenticated access to Scribble.
• Deliver handwriting lessons, activities, feedback, and progress tracking.
• Store student learning state so practice can resume across sessions.
• Provide reports and management tools to authorized adults, schools, and administrators.
• Respond to support requests and troubleshoot product issues.
• Maintain safety, security, fraud prevention, service integrity, and audit records.
• Improve product reliability, accessibility, curriculum, and learning workflows.

We use service providers to host the product, operate authentication, process email, support analytics and diagnostics, provide customer support, and integrate with school or partner systems where applicable. These providers may process information only as needed to provide services to Scribble and our users.

Scribble is designed for handwriting practice by children and students. Student information is used for educational, product, support, security, and operational purposes. Access is limited to authorized users, such as a parent, guardian, school, teacher, administrator, or Scribble personnel who need access to provide and support the service.

When Scribble is used through a school, the school may authorize student use and may request access, correction, export, deletion, or retention review. Families may also contact us with privacy or student data requests.

Scribble may use limited analytics and diagnostics to understand whether the product works correctly and where students or adults need support. We do not use this information to track users across other companies' apps or websites, and we do not sell personal information.
